Cyber Tribe delivers a clutch performance in Match One of Finals at Smoky Mountain Regional.
Smoky Mountain Regional - Sevierville, TN - Mar 18-21, 2026
Team 4020 QuickDraw dominated the qualification rounds at the Sevierville Convention Center, finishing ranked first overall out of 46 competing teams with a perfect and undefeated record of 10 wins, 0 losses, and 0 ties.
Entering the playoff tournament as the highest-seeded team, Cyber Tribe became the Captain of Alliance 1 and strategically selected Team 4065 Nerds of Prey, Team 1369 Minotaur, and backup Team 7917 Frontier to complete the roster.
The first seed alliance showcased immense offensive power by sweeping the upper bracket, claiming decisive victories over Alliance 8 with a score of 403 to 144, Alliance 4 by 380 to 132, and Alliance 2 by 347 to 191 to secure a direct path to the finals.
During the highly competitive and high-scoring finals matches, Cyber Tribe faced Alliance 2 again and ultimately fell short, dropping the first match 279 to 341 and the second match 289 to 323 to finish the event as Regional Finalists.
Cyber Tribe concluded the Smoky Mountains Regional with a dominant overall record of 14 wins and 2 losses, taking home 58 Regional Pool Points, setting us up for a draft pick to the World Championships!
Rocket City Regional - Huntsville, AL - Apr 8-11, 2026
Cyber Tribe finished qualifications ranked 11 out of 48 teams with a record of 6 wins, 4 losses, and 0 ties, a record hard-earned while facing off against several of the top-seeded teams in the world.
Throughout these grueling qualification matches, your robot faced relentless, heavy defense from opponents that frequently disrupted your shooting cycles and occasionally resulted in broken mechanisms on the bot, but the team never stopped fighting and took every possible shot they could to keep the pressure on.
Moving into alliance selection with a resilient performance, we were scooped up as the first pick for Alliance 2 to play alongside Alliance Captain Team 2783 Engineers of Tomorrow and second pick Team 3984 Topper Robotics.
The playoff bracket started off strong with a massive 340 to 131 victory over Alliance 7 in Round 1, but the momentum shifted when our alliance took a narrow and tough 369 to 379 loss to Alliance 3 in Round 2.
Bouncing down to the lower bracket, we fought back to eliminate Alliance 4 with a score of 392 to 247 in Round 3, but the playoff run officially ended in Round 4 after falling 249 to 268 to Alliance 5.
Cyber Tribe walked away from the Huntsville event with an overall record of 8 wins and 6 losses, snagging 39 more Regional Pool Points to bump the season total up to 97 points.
